Putting our dancers centre stage
There is nothing quite like dancing on stage. Exams are a great way to measure progress but the thrill of performing a number in costume, under lights, to an audience, is like no other. It also builds confidence, resilience and team work – all useful skills in life. Most of all, shows are fun which is why we grab every opportunity for our students to find the spotlight.
Our most recent show was Wizard of Oz Jr. Based on the classic MGM movie, it is the RSC musical featuring all your favourites: Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Off to See the Wizard, Follow the Yellow Brick Road and more! A total of almost 90 cast members certainly gave it the wow factor.
Prior to the Wizard of Oz, it was our very special Diamond anniversary show in 2024 - a big celebration!
Every 4 years we have our very special danced Nativity "Dancing to Bethlehem". Last performed in 2023, it has become a rite of passage for our dancers, from cute animals around the manger to elegant, graceful angels.
Prior to that, was our brilliant production of Matilda Jr.
